The Company:

A region’s leading design and production company specializes in – exhibitions, events, interiors, graphics and audio visual helping with everything from concept creation right through to delivery – based in Dubai

 

The Role:

Key account manager is assigned to a company headquarters to oversee the account team assigned to an account. Key account management includes sales but also includes planning and managing the full relationship between a business and its most important customers.

 

Major Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple exiting accounts of the company
  • Focus on growing and developing existing clients, together with generating new business
  • Achieve annual sales targets from existing clients managed as well as new clients generated
  • Increase business from existing clients by offering them services of other divisions of the company
  • Play an integral role in new business pitches and hold responsibility for the effective on-boarding of new clients
  • Write business plans for all current and opportunity tender business
  • Act as the key interface/point of contact between the customer and all relevant divisions
  • Create, negotiate and close commercial agreements
  • Instrumental in devising and implementing the strategy for meeting sales performance targets
  • Provide weekly sales report and updates to the company’s senior management

Qualifications and Desired Skills:

  • Languages English is a must. Multi-lingual would be an advantage
  • Past exhibitions and events industry experience preferred
  • Highly self-motivated
  • Degree in Business, Marketing, or any other related fields preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must show an understanding of the challenges facing the industry at present and illustrate a knowledge of the operational attention to detail that will be required to succeed within the industry
