A highly reputable Strategy Consulting firm – arm of a private financial services group recognised for serving clients in the private sector, public sector and non-profit institutions across the MENA region

The Role:

The Senior Consultant is to help lead private companies and a diverse group of governments, institutions and nonprofit organizations solve their most difficult management challenges, improve their strategies, organizations, operational functions and support implementations

Major Responsibilities:

Business Development

  • Cultivate new client relationships and further build on existing ones to bring new profitable consulting projects for the firm
  • Understand current and future client needs in the context of market dynamics and applies in sites to recommend short and/or long-term value creation for the client.
  • Expand the firm’s activity in other GCC markets
  • Provide vision and support strategic planning and budgeting processes

Engagement Delivery

  • Provide leadership and overall management of several projects in parallel by engaging with clients at senior decision-making levels
  • Provide leadership and guidance to Engagement Managers and project teams to ensure excellent delivery of results

People Development

  • Contribute to the development of the consulting team, providing mentorship and on-the-job training to junior staff.
  • Lead and support recruitment efforts within the firm as required
  • Lead and support formal training efforts focused on junior team members
  • Leadership and office development:
  • Communicate frequently with the team on vision, priorities and key developments
  • Broaden consulting capabilities by leading the development and refining of internal processes and procedures, developing and improving analytical tools, and building expert knowledge

Financial Management

  • Ensure profitability on key client projects, drive overall financial growth of the firm
  • Monitor select key performance indicators and address any shortcomings

Additional Requirement

  • Engage on issues related to regulations, potential partnerships, others as needed

Qualifications & Desired Skills:

  • Saudi national
  • Masters or MBA from a leading business or engineering school.
  • 15+ years of experience, mainly within the consulting field with top management consulting firms
  • Strong reputation and professional track record in the Saudi market
  • Consulting experience within & strong knowledge & understanding of the MENA region
  • Strong analytical & organizational skills
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills
  • Outstanding leadership skills
  • Completely bilingual – with required fluency in English and Arabic at a minimum
  • Ability & willingness to work on assignments throughout the MENA region
